The Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAC) ushered in the observance by remembering children who have died at the hands of violence. In wanting a semblance of justice for child victims of murder, Minister of Local Government Desmond McKenzie is sounding the call for the death penalty, also in agreement is the Mayor of Kingston Delroy Williams.
McKenzie’s impassioned call followed the child-month wreath-laying ceremony at the secret garden monument in downtown Kingston on Sunday.
