McKenzie Calls for Death Penalty for Child Murderers

The Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAC) ushered in the observance by remembering children who have died at the hands of violence. In wanting a semblance of justice for child victims of murder, Minister of Local Government Desmond McKenzie is sounding the call for the death penalty, also in agreement is the Mayor of Kingston Delroy Williams.

McKenzie’s impassioned call followed the child-month wreath-laying ceremony at the secret garden monument in downtown Kingston on Sunday.

CEO of Child Protection and Family Services Agency, Rosealee Gage- Gry says there are hotspots across the island that are on the radar for violence against children. Watch the full report below:
