Former Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Senator, Dennis Meadows, says he is firm in his resolve to join a team in Northern Trelawny, to ensure that the Trelawny Municipal Council, returns to the People’s National Party (PNP) in the upcoming local government election.
Meadows says he makes no apology for his ambition, noting that he does not seek to join the opposition with any special expectations or entitlement. He says his political decision is guided by what is best for the people. Meadows minced no words while criticizing the government, and explained his main objective in joining the Opposition.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Mark Golding, says a decision is yet to be made on Meadows’ acceptance to the party. Watch the full report here:
