The People’s National Party (PNP) is lamenting several social issues plaguing the country. Their concerns were explored at a PNP Area Conference in Knockpatrick, Manchester, at the weekend. Several jabs were taken at the Andrew Holness-led administration for the perceived challenges many Jamaicans face.

Members of the Opposition expressed their disappointment and frustration about what they describe as troubling issues plaguing the country. The conference targeted areas for improvement, including national security, education, and proper garbage disposal. Meantime, Opposition Leader, Mark Golding says his cries for gas taxes to be removed, have been ignored.

Opposition Spokesperson on Transport and Housing, Mikael Phillips lashed out against the national housing trust and their actions towards the poorer class.
