Justice is underway as two individuals face charges linked to the devastating firebombing incident in Gregory Park. Nigel McClarty, 24, of Christian Pen, and 21-year-old Odane Fowler, also known as ‘Pop Chow’ from Portmore Villa, both located in St Catherine, are now facing serious charges. They’ve been accused of two counts of murder, 10 counts of arson, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of unauthorized ammunition, and involvement in a criminal organization, all stemming from the tragic attack.

Deputy Commissioner Fitz Bailey, responsible for overseeing the police’s crime and security matters, unveiled these charges during a press conference at the Greater Portmore Police Station. This incident, which occurred on August 12, led to the loss of 11 homes due to a shocking gun and arson assault on Walkers Avenue.

The attack not only resulted in property destruction but also claimed lives. Taxi operator Raneel Haughton, known as ‘Rum Punch’, lost his life during the event. The attackers targeted the houses with gas oil and firearms, causing chaos and tragedy.
