With the outpouring of support, Reid admits he is marked for good despite a rough past. On the verge of breaking down, Reid, having lost two job opportunities in short succession, says the dark past that led him to a juvenile facility appeared alluring once more. Unable to pay his rent, and with little hope in sight, Reid sent a desperate video to anyone willing to listen.
Michael Reid who has a passion for business says his life has been far from ideal being an unwanted son to his mother who he said told him he was not special. He has faced many instances of abuse in his early years, but with one video it seems his luck is about to change. He’s now being mentored, receiving emotional and monetary support and an outpouring of love from Jamaicans at home and abroad.
