On Monday, the Custos of Westmoreland, Rev. Cannon Hartley Perrin toured sections placed under Zones of Special Operation. Rev. Perrin says some are pleased with the presence of the operations while others are not happy because of the negative impacts it has on their business. He believes the operations are going well, as the crime in the vicinity has reduced.
Justices of the Peace and a team from the Office of the Public Defender were also present and sought reactions from residents and members of the security forces. More details in this report:
