MoAF Works to Beat St Thomas Beet Army Worm

The government has implemented several methods to minimize beet armyworms affecting onion and escallion farmers in St Thomas. Among the strategies is a risk assessment report, and plant health mobile clinics for local farmers.

Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) Pearnel Charles Jr says his Ministry has been working assiduously to end the recurring beet armyworm infestation in Jamaica.
