The Ministry of Education and Youth, MOEY, refutes Teachers’ claims and has responded to claims raised about the perceived scant regard for teachers’ plight in light of recent pay issues. This after the Jamaica Teachers’ Association, JTA, attempted to justify its recent call for industrial action across the nation, alleging there remain several discrepancies and anomalies with teachers’ compensation.
