At a Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, Central Executive Meeting, Party Chairman Robert Montague says a critical decision was taken to host a retreat to reflect on manifesto goals that the party outlined in the campaign period leading up to General Election.
He says though all matters on the agenda were not addressed, the ones of grave importance were prioritized. Montague says the party will be reassessing its policies and programmes so as to realign with promises. He says special instruction was given to address issues in the constitutional reform process. Matters of divisional vacancies were of prime concern which he says will be settled in due time.
However, there were other matters that were not discussed as other social points of pain superseded. Watch the report:
