The Board Chairman of the National Irrigation Commission (NIC) says more experts are needed in agriculture. He is among several stakeholders calling on the government to foster interest and encourage young Jamaicans in the field. He was speaking during a scholarship award ceremony Thursday. Twelve students have presented scholarships from NIC valued up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars to aid in financing their secondary or tertiary education.
