A Manchester family is in mourning after a mother and her son were found dead with gunshot wounds. The gruesome murders have jolted relatives and a community fresh from Christmas celebrations.
Dead are 56-year-old Althea Rowe, a Bartender, and 36-year-old farmer Cleon Palmer.
Doreen Rowe, Althea’s sister is alleging her nephew and sister were murdered between Saturday night and Tuesday morning. Rowe says Palmer lives in the area but his mother was visiting adding the details of the incident would be unclear. Evidently stunned by her sister and nephew’s killing Doreen says she is trying to stay strong. The bodies found in pools of blood suffered gunshot wounds, however, the cause of death remains unknown.
