A family of five was found with their throats slashed on Tuesday morning in the Cocoa Piece community of Chapelton, Clarendon. Thirty-one-year-old Kemisha Wright and her children, fifteen-year-old Kimana Smith, ten-year-old Shemari Smith, five-year-old Kafana Smith, and twenty-three-month-old Kishaun Henry.
The gruesome killing sent shock waves throughout the island, as citizens mark the tragedy as a sign that crime is consuming the nation, while Family members and residents remain inconsolable.
Police reports are that at about 7:50 am, the bodies were found with their throats slashed. Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang is committing to bringing justice to the matter. Watch the report here:
