Mother Of Murder Convict Apologizes for Her Son

The mother of a man who’s serving life in prison after fatally stabbing a 14-year-old Jamaica college student is apologizing to the victim’s family.  In this CVM LIVE exclusive, the St Andrew woman says she is been tormented and taunted by persons offended by her son’s deed.

On October 26, 2016, the Francis family got the news that their 14-year-old son Nicholas was stabbed in the chest after he resisted handing over his phone to a man, who was later identified as Quacie Hart.  Nicholas succumbed to his injury and the man charged with his murder was sentenced to life. He has to serve 31 years before being eligible for parole.

Five years later and the mother of the convicted murderer, Patricia Edwards says she has been tormented ever since her son murdered the former Jamaica College student.

She says she became suspicious something was wrong regarding her son, who did not come home the night the student was killed she said it was a newspaper that made her know her son was in trouble with the law.
