Motorcyclist and Founder of Back To Basics Motorcycle Safety Mission Tarik Kiddoe is calling for driver education for those who drive four-wheel vehicles about how to be more mindful and appreciative of those who ride motorbikes rather than seeing them as a risk.
While recalling a crash last Sunday in Junction, St Elizabeth where CCTV footage captured a motorcyclist colliding with a motor vehicle that appeared to be turning in the same direction, he says road users should maintain a duty of care on the roads, including signaling turns. He shares that vehicles turning into the path of a motorcyclist is a global issue.
