The People’s National Party is hoping to build stronger as it makes changes to the cabinet to unite and seek redemption. Member of Parliament for St. Andrew South Eastern, Julian Robinson, says the party is unstoppable when all members work together. He was addressing the Norman Gardens Divisional Conference in Kingston recently. Member of Parliament for St. Andrew South Eastern, Julian Robinson, says once the PNP is united, there is no force that can turn it back.
This follows the recent changes in the shadow cabinet, where Robinson says another shuffle is soon to come as the party is committed to working together. MP Robinson went further to criticize the government’s management of the National Housing Trust.
He says the NHT no longer represents the initial objectives of the institution, adding no longer aims to provide affordable housing to citizens. Robinson argues that private contractors are providing more affordable housing than the NHT. Meanwhile, Robinson is making another appeal to the government to cushion the increase in gas prices.
He insists not enough is being done to protect citizens in the fuel crisis.
