Nannyville Residents Protest Fatal Shootings

The residents of Nannyville in South East St Andrew are at their boiling point with the police following the shooting death of two men on Sunday. Residents say the men were law-abiding citizens and staged a protest amid rising fear and tension on Monday.

The men were allegedly shot and killed by the police. They have been identified as 26-year-old Prince Davis and another man known as Pablo. The residents sought to dispel claims that both men were involved in a shootout with the police.

Residents say just two weeks ago there was a shootout in the community between gunmen and police following a party.

CVM LIVE understands nine nights are allowed however without music. The residents say the community was once peaceful but those days are gone. Calls to Member of Parliament for South East St. Andrew, Julian Robinson went unanswered. Watch the report below:
