In 2018 the Cabinet approved the National Compliance and Regulatory Authority, NCRA carrying out the regulatory functions once discharged by the Bureau of Standards Jamaica, BSJ.
On Friday the Senate passed legislation for that change to finally take effect. Watch the report:
