New Trends in Local Death Services, Cremation on High Demand

Emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic were myriad lessons, advancements in services, and paradigm shifts. In the case of the local death services industry, one major player is of the view that new trends emerged while Jamaicans gave more consideration to less traditional farewells.

Managing Director of Delapenha Funeral Home, Dale Delapenha, says more Jamaicans opted to cremate, however, he believes it is still too early to say whether the trend will continue.
