With the onset of the rainy season, the newly appointed caretaker for the Red Hills Division has embraced the responsibility of clearing the drains in Kitson Town, prompted by numerous complaints from residents. Locals informed CVM News that they have endured the frustrations of blocked drains for years, which were previously neglected by former representatives.
Michael Archer, the recently elected councillor caretaker for the Red Hills Division, who was the focus of a protest in Kitson Town, St. Catherine, last week following Dr. Christopher Tufton’s decision to have him represent the area in the upcoming local government election, has taken the initiative to address the long-standing drainage issue in Kitson Town.
