No Sanctions At D.C.S One Year After Noel Chambers Died

There have been no sanctions at the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) since Noel Chambers died a year ago. The death of the mentally ill inmate at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre was the topic of much debate.

Eighty-one-year-old Noel Chambers died after being in prison for over 40 years angering citizens about access to justice. But the Warders at the Department of Correctional Services are blaming the management for failing to safeguard the inmate.
