Rumours of a stand-off between the alleged cronies of a patient at the Cornwall Regional Hospital and staff began spreading like wildfire on Tuesday. It was also alleged there was a confrontation with the police. But both the police and the hospital’s senior medical officer have rejected the allegations.
Senior Medical Officer at the Cornwall Regional Hospital, Dr. Derek Harvey has refuted allegations of a stand-off between medical staff and gunmen over their friend, a former taxi operator on Tuesday morning.
