Embattled police constable and murder accused Noel Maitland was denied bail in the Supreme Court, in Kingston. Last month when his Attorney submitted a bail application the date for the bail hearing was postponed.
Maitland is charged with the murder of his 24-year-old girlfriend social media influencer DonnaLee Donaldson. Justice Vinnette Graham Allen ruled in the Supreme Court Thursday that Constable Noel Maitland be denied bail. According to Judge Graham, there is substantial grounds for believing that if Maitland is released, he will fail to surrender to custody and he will interfere with the course of justice. Maitland is also charged with preventing the lawful burial of a corpse.
