Norse Atlantic Airways, NS, Launches New Routes to the Caribbean, Starting with Montego Bay – With the onset of the cold season, Norse Atlantic Airways is offering direct flights to the inviting beaches and vibrant cultures of Montego Bay. The two-year-old airline, specializing in long-haul flights primarily between Europe and the United States, inaugurated its services to Montego Bay from London, promising up to four flights per week.
In a celebratory ceremony held in Montego Bay, the airline announced its new routes from London to Montego Bay and Barbados, aiming to tap into the Caribbean market during the 2023/24 winter season. The Regional Director for the Jamaica Tourist Board, Mrs. Odette Soberam Dyer, expressed excitement about their ambitious tourism plan, geared toward welcoming more visitors to Jamaica. This initiative has proven successful as Jamaica experienced a record number of visitors from the United Kingdom in 2022. Norse Atlantic Airways will operate services to Montego Bay up to four times per week, while Barbados will receive five flights weekly. This announcement coincides with Jamaica’s recent achievements at the 30th World Travel Awards in Dubai, where the country secured two international accolades: World’s Leading Family Destination and World’s Leading Cruise Destination.
