Norwood Shooting Leaves Two Dead And One Injured

At about 8 Friday evening, two men were shot dead at a bar in Hollywood Square, Norwood, St. James; a woman was injured in the incident.

Dead are 47 year old Donovan Reid also called ‘Stamma’ and 20 year old, Nicardo Daley.

Donovan’s mother who says her son was deaf and mute is distraught.  

Another resident, who is the father of the injured woman, says he is still in shock.

CVM Live understands that hours later a 51 year old man, Aubrey Brown, was robbed and killed on the nearby Irie Drive.

The gun men then went on to Nelly Lane set a car ablaze while other vehicles were shot at, leaving residents devastated.

On Saturday, a 13 year old boy was reportedly shot in the head, also in Norwood. The teen has been admitted to the hospital and is said to be in a serious condition.

To add, Minister of National Security and Member of Parliament for North West, St. James, Dr. Horace Chang says the killings are as a result of gang rivalry.

He says there will be heightened security presence throughout  the area.
