Norwood, St. James ZOSO: Illegal Firearms & Ammunition Seized
On the second day of the Zone of Special Operations, ZOSO, in Norwood St. James is already reaping results. This follows the seizure of two illegal firearms and some eighteen rounds of ammunition in the area.

Following the Prime Minister’s declaration of a Zone of Special Operations in the Norwood community of St. James on Sunday, over one hundred soldiers have been deployed to provide full support to members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force on the ground.
This in addition to several mobile and foot patrols being conducted in the area.
Head of the Police’s Corporate Communications Unit, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, says that already illegal weapons have been seized.
