Opposition Leader, Mark Golding is among the latest to disagree with the Prime Minister’s suggestion of importing skilled workers.
After the prime minister announced the nation is experiencing labour shortage, where the government may be forced to import certified workers to fulfill the gap. The condemnation continues, as Mark Golding calls on the government to find different solutions for training youngsters.
This follows the prime minister’s recent announcement that Jamaica is experiencing a labour shortage, where persons are not certified for roles that require trained workers. The opposition leader says he disagrees with the idea of importing skilled workers. Meanwhile, Golding admits the Heart NSTA has not been fulfilling its duties; however the government must take some responsibility.
