“The PR Party” that’s the label given by the Opposition, while members were speaking in Manchester on Sunday at the People’s National Party Divisional Conference. The Opposition also criticized the government for what they say are failed promises.
Opposition Senator Peter Bunting among other members highlighting the shortcomings of the government that lead workers of various public sector groups to strike last week. The opposition members were addressing comrades at the PNP’s division conference in Belle-Field Manchester Sunday.
Keynote Speaker Natalie Neita-Garvey criticized the government for not living up to its mantra of prosperity.
Neita-Garvey highlighted the taxations on basic food items, and the unnecessary hike in gas prices noting there is no need for a tax hedge. She sought to question the government’s approach to increase wages for public sector workers.
Also during the conference, Member of Parliament Mickael Phillips encouraged comrades to join the party in working together.
