Opposition Caretaker for the Central Kingston Constituency, Imani Duncan-Price, is displeased with political representatives’ alleged action of painting communities in the area, in political colors. She says residents have raised concerns over what seems to be a trigger for a political warfare in Kingston Central.
Duncan Price asserts such action is a breach of political guidelines, noting that Members of Parliament and Councillors must abide by these rules, to keep a neutral and peaceful ground. She was in the area Saturday repainting communities in non-political colors.
Stressing the history and present violent situation in Central Kingston, she says a political warfare in the constituency will only do more harm than good.
Meanwhile, Opposition Councillor for the Allman Town Division, Charmaine Daniels, is calling on political representatives to care for all citizens.
Efforts to get a comment from Member of Parliament for Kingston Central, Donovan Williams, proved futile. More details in the report:
