The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) is appealing to the government to address the current crisis faced locally in diagnostic health care. Junior Shadow Minister for Health, Jesse James Clarke says people are burdened with long wait times for pap smear and other diagnostic test results in the public health sector. Junior Shadow Minister for Health, Jesse James Clarke is appealing to the government for a fix to issues plaguing diagnostic health care in the country.
He says the excessive wait time for persons who seek lab test results in the public health sector needs urgent attention. The Opposition Member says the public health system lacks efficiency. He explains persons outside the corporate area are especially at a disadvantage.
