Shadow Minister on Energy, Phillip Pauwell, continues his appeal to the government to pursue an oil supply deal with Petrojam, to secure Jamaica’s energy sources. Pauwell disapproves of the government’s move to source natural gas from Nigeria, noting the initiative will be futile.
He went further in relation to oil, stating that Jamaica had a facility with Nigeria that was squandered politically by the current government. Paulwell is however insisting the Petrocaribe arrangement with Venezuela should be re-engaged. Watch the report below:
