While lauding the government’s effort to pump over 1 billion dollars into bridge repair for the fiscal year 2023/2024 Member of Parliament for North Western Manchester Mikael Phillips says he anticipates the spending on the Troy Bridge and wonders if it will be seen as a priority. He says it would be appropriate for the government to treat the Troy Bridge as an emergency adding the livelihoods of residents have been disrupted. Member of Parliament for northwest Manchester, the Opposition’s Mikael Phillips says he anticipates the maintenance and repair of bridges this financial year. This is as the government plans to spend some 1.3 billion dollars on the maintenance and installation of bridges across the island.
