Opposition Leader, Mark Golding is calling for the Government to have more inclusion of the Opposition in its vaccine initiative, this while the Opposition lauds the Andrew Holness administration’s Vaccine Mobilization and Public Education campaign.
Speaking on day one of the People’s National Party’s 83rd annual two-day conference, Opposition Leader Mark Golding chided Prime Minister Andrew Holness for not including him after meeting with him once prior to the launch of the Government’s island-wide public education and vaccination drive.
Golding opined that the methods with which the Government has executed the vaccine initiative has not been properly structured. Golding says that this campaign is for the nation at large, and not solely for the Government. In the meantime, while fear lingers among some citizens, Golding sought to reassure that he is in support of vaccination, as he notes this is the most viable route back to normality.
