Having emerged from the 83rd People’s National Party, (PNP) annual conference, General Secretary Dr. Dayton Campbell, said the party’s is to finalize changes to its voting structure for the posts of vice president and president. The unprecedented changes to the party’s internal voting structures were explored at the party’s recently concluded annual conference.
If passed it would see one member being allowed one vote in the party’s internal elections for president and vice president replacing the delegates voting system. The strategy is intended to expand the party’s base. We discussed the outcomes of the 83rd annual PNP conference and the implications of a change to voting structure.
