Over 100,000 Vaccinated and Counting

Vaccination Sites Reach Capacity and over 100,000 Vaccinated and counting.

Scores of persons turned up at vaccination sites across the island of Jamaica for the last day of the blitz operation. However, some sites had to close early, as the number of people far outweighed the doses of vaccines available.

While some persons were vaccinated there were many others who left disappointed. All the locations in Kingston and St. Andrew, and Westmoreland scheduled to close at 8 pm were prematurely closed.

Vaccination also came to a halt at the Manchester high school and sandals inn in St James.

Jamaica has surpassed the 100,000 marks for persons inoculated with the covid-19 AstraZeneca vaccine.

All 75,000 doses of the vaccines committed to the five-day blitz have been used up.
