In an operation conducted by the Narcotics Division in St. Thomas, law enforcement authorities successfully seized a substantial quantity of ganja on Wednesday, December 27. The operation carried out on Ken Jones highway in the parish around 11:00 a.m., unfolded at a specific location along the roadway, resulting in the discovery of 1220 kilograms of a substance closely resembling ganja. The estimated street value of the confiscated illicit drug is reported to be a staggering JMD 12.2 million, highlighting the magnitude of the bust.
