Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke presented the report on the second supplementary estimates 2021/2022 to the Public Administrations and Appropriations Committee.
The report of the Public Administration and Appropriation Committee PAAC, on the second supplementary estimates 2021/2022 was tabled in the House of Representatives Thursday. Whilst speaking on the report in the lower house, finance minister Dr. Nigel Clarke says the current rate of the economic recovery suggests that pre COVID-19 levels of output will be restored in the near future. He points out that economic growth was the supplement that boosted resources.
Jamaica’s economic growth is projected to see a 6 percent increase this fiscal year. Dr. Clarke also issued a reminder that Jamaica’s inflation rate is not the only one that has been impacted by the pandemic.
