Parish of Manchester Sees 28% Reduction in Major Crimes

 

The Manchester Police are reporting a 28 percent reduction in major crimes for the period January 1 to July 25, 2020, compared to the same time last year.  

Ten (10) illegal firearms have been seized since the start of the year and one man arrested and charged. Over one hundred and thirty (130) rounds of illegal ammunition have also been seized. 

The head of The Manchester Police says they continue to enforce the law which includes the Disaster Risk Management Act.
