Pastor Shot in Portmore, Succumbs to Injuries

A pastor who was shot, on Monday, in Greater Portmore, St Catherine has since succumbed to his injuries. The 53-year-old PastorLynval Lewis was reportedly shot in the head while reversing his vehicle. The St Catherine South Police are imploring anyone with information on the brazen gun attack to tell them what they know.

The brutal incident that claimed the life of the clergyman unfolded sometime Monday afternoon in a section of Greater Portmore, St Catherine.

CVM LIVE spoke to the Acting Commanding Officer for the St Catherine South Police, Supt Hopton Nicholson. The officer is appealing to anyone with information that can help the police in solving this crime to contact law enforcement urgently.

Meantime, condolences have already started to pour in from other ministers of religion rocked by the news of Pastor Lewis’ killing,  which has sent shock waves across the country. Watch the report below:
