Patterson Not Charged In ‘Slickiana’ Case

Rushane Patterson, the only named suspect in social media personality Anica ‘Slickiana” Townsend’s murder, remains in police custody, despite not being charged in relation to the case. He is however charged for a matter in 2018. His attorney is questioning the approach of the police, which she believes is compromising Patterson’s case.

Attorney at Law Michelle Thomas representing Rushane Patterson says her client was not charged in relation to any crime in connection to the death of social media influencer Anica ‘Slickianna’ Townsend. Despite being freed of these charges he remains behind bars since abduction charges were successfully laid against him in connection with a 2018 incident. 

However, Thomas says she believes the police have tampered with material they hope to use as evidence. She notes suspicions were raised when a part of his car went missing, while in the police’s possession. Watch the report:
