Today, March 7, is Being Observed as Peace Day across Jamaica. Schools across the country wore the symbolic blue in acknowledgment of Peace Day activities. Peace day 2023 was off to a great start at the Calabar infant and primary school Tuesday morning. Members of the peace and love Jamaica and students were out in their numbers championing the call for peace in the society.

Education Minister Fayval Williams speaking with our news team, says this initiative is most needed, as society has become more violent.

She notes with students practicing peaceful ways of resolving conflict, they will be less triggered to violence.
