A person of interest was taken into custody on Tuesday evening during a joint police-military operation across sections of Manchester. Deputy Superintendent of the Manchester Police Division Collin Johnson says since 2023 the parish has recorded 2 murders and one robbery which have led to increased operational activities by the security forces.
He notes the search includes locating wanted men and persons of interest. DSP Collins adds during 2022 the parish has also been plagued with other major crimes. He says as the year progresses the police will be working assiduously to reduce crime in the parish.
