Phillip Paulwell Gifts Tablets and Grants to Students

Back-to-school is here; students of east Kingston and Port Royal received tablets and grants that would equip them for the school year. This was done during the annual back-to-school presentation hosted by Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell.

Phillip Paulwell Member of Parliament for Kingston Eastern, Port Royal hosted a back-to-school function for primary school and university students.  Over 40 university students ranging from the Caribbean Maritime University, the University of the West Indies, Mico University College, and the University of Technology, Jamaica received tuition grants. The top 4 pep performers in the constituency were also awarded for their hard work overall. Through the Constituency Development Fund, Paulwell was able to award tablets to the students.

He commends the efforts of students who were able to maintain good performance during what he calls a lost year for students.
