The true meaning of Christmas – Prime Minister Andrew Holness lit up the minds of many Clarendon stakeholders at the recent Tree Lighting ceremony urging road users to obey the speed limit and preaching safety. This as he notes the repeated instances of road fatalities. The festive season also creates a space for criminals especially robbers to heighten their operations, leaving the Prime Minister calling for greater vigilance and erring on the side of caution. He says the security forces have also heightened their presence, and are on the lookout for criminal trends. Noting these trends in the Christmas season, he is appealing to Jamaicans to create a space of humility and safety, to redefine the seasons’ experience.
