The possibility of Clarendon being granted city status is on the horizon. During his recent visit to various parts of Northern Clarendon, Prime Minister Andrew Holness disclosed that a location within the central parish is being evaluated as one of the two potential candidates for city status when the ultimate decision is made. Additionally, he furnished an update concerning multiple housing developments that were pledged for the parish.
