Prime Minister Andrew Holness declared States of Public Emergency in the entire parishes of Clarendon, St. Ann, and the Kingston Western Police Division. His announcement has been met with support from residents in the Kingston Western police division, an area that is no stranger to SOEs.
Admittedly, they say states of emergency do not completely eradicate the presence of violence in the space, but at least they receive some well-needed ease, during this time.
