A leading global provider of advanced outsourced customer experience solutions has officially opened on Friday, July 23, at a new site in Portmore, St. Catherine.
The new, standalone building is located in the GTECH Office Park and is the second site for IBEX in Portmore.
At the ground break, Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the advancements seen in Portmore is making noticeable strides into becoming a parish.
Mr. Holness says though it was a business processing outsourcing company that had the first cluster of COVID-19 cases, the management of the staff across the country has been exceptional.
He says there has been no outbreaks at BPO’s since April of this year and stresses that this is achievable when private sectors and citizens cooperate with the Government.
Meanwhile, Holness says though the pandemic has caused the growth in many sectors to slow, building and construction have been progressing.
