Prime Minister Andrew Holness addresses United Nations General Assembly – In his address to the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Andrew Holness spoke to the need for the international community to scale-up cooperation among middle-income countries, in response to the deepening health crisis.
Normally leaders from around the world would travel to New York for the annual session.
This year’s staging was moved online because of the pandemic. UN officials, presidents, and prime ministers sent pre-recorded speeches to mark the occasion.
