PM Holness Tours St. Mary Communities

Prime Minister Andrew Holness and other Government officials visited several communities in St.Mary recently to encourage residents to get vaccinated, in keeping with the Government’s mandate to achieve herd immunity,

The Prime Minister notes the un-vaccinated are part of the Government’s priority during this health crisis. Persons to get vaccinated as the Government works assiduously to eradicate the COVID-19 virus.

PM Holness notes though he has come across persons in St.Mary who are hesitant the majority of persons are receptive to taking the jab. And regarding vaccines that have reached their expiration date, Holness says had the vaccination take-up rate been higher; vaccines would have been used before their expiry date. Meantime the Prime Minister says the main focus now is the un-vaccinated.
