Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the long-awaited Cornwall Regional Hospital will be a world-class facility set to improve the well-being of all. He is assuring the public that amidst the challenges encountered they are doing their best to complete the hospital.
As part of his western region infrastructure project tour, Prime Minister Andrew Holness did a roundup of the Cornwall Regional Hospital in St James which came under scrutiny in recent months, which the Minister of Health and Wellness addressed in a press briefing.
Holness in his remark said though the over 50-year-old state-of-the-art hospital has lasted for decades it has reached its useful life. Holness commended the staff of the hospital and the public alike for working with less-than-ideal situations surrounding the project. Reiterating the myriad of factors that lead to the delay. The Prime Minister says the 14 billion dollar brand new hospital will improve the quality of life and well-being. Watch the report:
