PM: Jamaica Must Solve Its Issues and Not Be Reliant on Handouts

On Sunday Prime Minister Andrew Holness while addressing an Area Two Council Meeting in St. Catherine told the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) supporters that Jamaica must unite to resolve its issues, and that the government is not reliant on taking handouts. He notes the cries of the people on several issues including the rising fuel costs.

The Prime Minister says the budget geared towards infrastructure, must be spent wisely to have long term stability. He says the government is working assiduously on improving steps to tackle climate change.

Holness says Jamaica as a collective must be more scientific in their thinking, this as he says the world is heading towards a fully digital transformation.
